Overview

Huarong, also known as Huarong Dao or the Klotski puzzle in the West, is a centuries-old sliding block challenge inspired by a famous escape from the Three Kingdoms era. A large 2 by 2 block representing the general Cao Cao is trapped among smaller rectangular and square blocks. Your job is to shuffle everything around and slip the general out of the narrow exit at the bottom. In NeuraCraft, Huarong is rebuilt for touch: tap a block, then swipe it into the empty space. The dark gold-on-black layout keeps your eyes on the puzzle, with no timers, no ads, and no penalties for trying again. Optimal solutions in this classic setup take around 81 moves — a satisfying target for a quiet afternoon.

How to Play

Identify the large 2x2 block (the "general") — it must exit through the bottom gap.
Tap any block, then slide it up, down, left, or right into adjacent empty space.
Blocks cannot rotate or jump over other pieces; only direct sliding is allowed.
Clear a path by moving the smaller pieces first, rearranging them around the general.
The puzzle is solved when the large block reaches the exit at the bottom edge.
