NEURA Reversi
Strategy · NEURA Reversi
Overview
Reversi, also known in some markets as Othello, is a two-player strategy game played on an 8×8 board with two-sided discs. You place a disc so that it traps one or more of your opponent's discs between your pieces — and every trapped disc flips to your colour. The player with more discs when the board fills up wins. On NeuraCraft, Reversi uses a calm green board, soft flip animations and large, readable discs. Practice against the computer at several strengths, or share the screen with a friend for a quiet duel. There are no ads between moves, no account needed and everything works offline. A game takes just 10–15 minutes, but the positional ideas can keep you thinking long after.
How to Play
- Black moves first; you must place a disc that flanks opponent discs.
- All opponent discs trapped in a straight line between yours are flipped.
- If you have no legal move, you must pass; the game ends when neither side can move.
- Corners are very powerful — they cannot be flipped back.
- Whoever has more discs when the board is done wins.
Cognitive Benefits
- Reversi is a short, focused form of cognitive exercise. Reading the board, counting flips and planning ahead trains attention, working memory and strategic thinking — a gentle way to keep the mind engaged and support cognitive health.
